Toi-Gye (퇴계 / 退溪) is the pen name of the noted scholar Yi Hwang (16th century), one of the foremost authorities on Neo-Confucianism in Korea. The 37 movements of this Tul refer to his birthplace on the 37th parallel, while the diagram represents a scholar, as in Yul-Gok Tul. Demonstrated by Mr. Ko Kum Gwang (4th Dan, Male, aged 23), a distinguished Taekwon-Do athlete of the Korean Taekwon-Do
