MILAN — Australian snowboarder Cam Bolton was resting in a hotel in Milan on Wednesday after breaking his neck in a training mishap at the Winter Olympics, the Australian Olympic Committee said.

Australia's Cooper Woods won the moguls competition to secure the country's first gold medal at the Milano Cortina Games by edging Canada's Mikael Kingsbury on a tiebreak.

Cooper Woods has won Australia's first medal of the Winter Olympics, clinching gold in the men's moguls.
